About Northern Movement

Hello + Welcome!

Northern Movement was created by Hailey Corradi, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Strength and Conditioning Specialist, to help cyclists dealing with persistent pain that is limiting them.

Northern Movement is providing three different services:

Rehab Programming for Pain and Injury

Strength & Wellness Coaching

Mobile (in-home) bike fits in Duluth, MN

Hailey received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The College of Saint Scholastica in 2020 and her Bachelors in Health and Wellness from the University of Minnesota in 2015. She is also a certified bike fitter and strength and conditioning specialist.

In her free time, Hailey enjoys gravel and mountain biking, running, hiking, weightlifting, ceramics, music, podcasts, and going on slow walks with her two retired greyhounds.

Why Remote?

The traditional model of in-person physical therapy often entails insurance limitations, time restrictions, and provider burnout - all of which can lead to cost-ineffective care and suboptimal outcomes.

Dr. Corradi wanted to create a model of care that would allow her to more closely connect and communicate with patients. Fully remote (online) guidance for musculoskeletal pain and injury removes these traditional constraints, and, by allowing clients to be supported more consistently throughout their plan of care, can increase the likelihood of achieving a high quality outcome.

Why Cash Based

Why Cash-Based?

  • The out-of-network model allows Dr. Corradi to guide patients back to activity without the visit limitations that insurance companies often impose.

  • For you it means more personalized care, greater accessibility to check-in and ask questions, while likely spending less money than you would at most clinics for an equivalent duration. Most insurance plans require a $1,500-$6,000 deductible before coverage begins, in addition to copays that can add an additional $20-$60 for each visit.

  • At Northern Movement, there are no additional or hidden costs. We also offer flexible payment options that can be discussed during your initial consultation.

Mobile Bike Fitting
$200 per fit

I bring the fit to you! Bike fitting will typically last 60-90 minutes.  All I ask is that we have a level surface to place a stationary trainer on.  Great for those who have pain on or off the bike, have a surgical history that is now limiting their riding, are preparing for events or bikepacking trips, just bought a new bike, or anticipate an increased riding volume in the near future.

Bike fit service includes:

  • Body assessment/screen (off bike).

  • Adjustments to saddle, stem, bars, cleats as appropriate.

  • Education & tips on cycling efficiency and any areas to focus on improving.

If you do not have a space for the fit, please reach out to discuss options.
